The scuba diving initiation is the perfect moment to discover for the first time the wonders of the underwater world. For about thirty minutes, you will be accompanied by a state-certified instructor who will guide you every step of the way on the outer slope of the island of Djerba, allowing you to discover a fabulous world beneath the surface.
Before your immersion, your instructor will take care of:

Presentation of the equipment: familiarization with all the necessary equipment to move comfortably underwater

Process

The diving initiation at the La Sirène club in Djerba is conducted as follows:

Equipment preparation: your equipment is carefully prepared at the La Sirène center before your immersion
Theory session: a brief presentation of diving basics, essential gestures, and safety instructions with your instructor
Boat departure: heading to the dive site from the La Sirène center, located directly facing the sea
The dive: discovery of Djerba's seabed in complete safety, accompanied by your state-certified instructor with a duration that varies from 30 min to 50 min depending on your breathing underwater
Return to the center: return by boat to the La Sirène center after your unforgettable underwater adventure

Moreover, if your group is composed of at least 5 people, the initiation outing will be offered to you! It's a beautiful opportunity to discover together the wonders of Djerba's seabed under the supervision of our professional instructors from La Sirène club.

Is a minimum number of divers required for a diving outing in Djerba?

We don't require any minimum number of participants. Your diving outing starts as soon as you register, even if you are alone.

Policies and Conditions

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the excursion date.
This activity depends on the weather conditions. In case of cancellation for climatic reasons, a new date will be proposed or the full refund will be granted.
Any modification made less than 48 hours before the departure time will not be accepted.
