LA SIRENE DIVING CLUB – DJERBA DIVING CENTER
La Sirène Diving Club offers scuba diving, snorkeling, and underwater work activities. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern all commercial relations between the center and its clients. Any reservation implies full and complete acceptance of these conditions.
Article 1 – Scope of Application
These GTC apply to all services offered by La Sirène Diving Club, available at any time on the center's website, under the «GTC» section.
The center reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time. The applicable conditions are those in force at the date of the order.
Article 2 – Fitness and Acceptance of Conditions
Any reservation of a service implies:
– unconditional acceptance of these GTC; ;
– acknowledgment of having been informed of contraindications to scuba diving; ;
– a sworn declaration of physical fitness to practice the activity.
For any training, a medical certificate of non-contraindication dated less than one year is mandatory. Minor participants must present a signed parental authorization.
Article 3 – Prices
Prices are quoted in euros (€) inclusive of all taxes (VAT included). The applicable price is the one in force at the time of reservation.
Article 4 – Booking Procedures
4.1 On-site booking
– Full payment if the service is immediate.
– A deposit of 30% minimum for any deferred booking; balance to be paid on the day of the service.
– Accepted payment methods: cash (euros, US dollars, Tunisian dinars).
4.2 Online booking
– Secure payment by credit card or PayPal.
– Choice between full payment or a deposit of 30%.
– If the service begins before the legal withdrawal period expires, the client remains liable for services already performed.
4.3 Booking by email
- Payment of 30% deposit required (credit card or PayPal).
- Booking confirmation constitutes acceptance of GTC, proof of transaction and electronic signature.
- A confirmation email is sent to the customer.
4.4 Booking by phone
- Booking validated after payment of 30% deposit via secure SSL connection (credit card or PayPal).
- The balance is to be paid on the day of the service.
⚠ Any booking without a deposit is not guaranteed.
Article 5 – Withdrawal and cancellation

Any service started is due in full.
Article 6 – Equipment: loss or damage
The customer agrees to use the equipment provided with care and diligence. Any damage, loss or theft may result in billing for the cost of repair or replacement. Normal wear and tear is not considered damage.
Article 7 – Customer obligations
Before participating in any activity, the customer must present:
- his/her valid diving certifications and licenses; ;
- his/her medical certificate of no contraindication (less than one year old); ;
- his/her diving logbook, if required by the service.
Personal equipment must comply with current standards and be checked by the customer before the activity. The center reserves the right to refuse participation if the equipment is deemed non-compliant.
Article 8 – Training validation
Validation of a diving or first aid level is subject to passing the required tests. The center reserves the right not to issue the certification if the expected competencies are not achieved. No refund will be granted in this case.
Article 9 – Welcome for people with disabilities
La Sirène Diving Club welcomes all audiences without discrimination. Any situation requiring specific arrangements must be reported during booking to allow the center to adapt the reception conditions.
⚠ Access to the boat may be difficult for some motor disabilities. An alternative from the beach may be offered depending on conditions.
Article 10 – Liability and Insurance
The client benefits from civil liability coverage through the center. It is highly recommended to take out additional individual insurance covering accidents related to scuba diving.
The center is bound by an obligation of means. Its liability cannot be held in case of:
– Internet malfunctions (virus, service interruption, etc.); ;
– Events beyond its control (force majeure).
Article 11 – Severability of Clauses
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared null or inapplicable, the other clauses shall remain in force and retain their full effect.
