The Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) Leader program is an exclusive additional qualification, reserved for certified PADI Divemasters. It allows you to personally lead Discover Scuba Diving experiences in confined water, offering new divers their first underwater immersion under your supervision.

This qualification strengthens your professional profile and expands your responsibilities at La Sirène club, positioning you as a key player in the discovery and promotion of diving in Djerba.

Process

This internship includes:

DSD Programs: lead 4 real Discover Scuba Diving experiences in a confined water environment, under the supervision of a PADI Instructor
Program Management: distribution of educational materials, document verification and safety briefings
Supervision: demonstrate proper supervision in an aquatic environment and conduct effective debriefings
Assessment: obtain a minimum score of 3 on each assessment criteria and pass the DSD Leader final assessment

Prerequisites

PADI Divemaster certification in Active status
Age: be at least 18 years old
Experience: have completed at least 50 scuba dives
EFR or equivalent: have completed the Primary and Secondary Care courses within the last 24 months
Medical certificate: provide a valid medical certificate for diving practice

Policies and Conditions

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the excursion date.
This activity depends on the weather conditions. In case of cancellation for climatic reasons, a new date will be proposed or the full refund will be granted.
Any modification made less than 48 hours before the departure time will not be accepted.
